How to Create Top X Games

Learn how to create your own Top X games using the Management Portal. This guide will walk you through the process of creating and managing a Top X Game, highlighting the necessary and optional configurations.

Accessing Top X Game Creation Page

πŸš€ All Top X management features are now centralized in one convenient location! Instead of navigating to different sections, you can now access configuration, games management, leaderboards, reports, and badges all from the same interface.

To access the Top X Game Creation Page:

  1. In the left sidebar, navigate to the Manage section
  2. Select Top X Games from the menu
  3. Click the blue Create button located at the top of the Top X Games management page

Necessary Fields

Title - A required field for every Top X Game. Provides a clear name for your game and can be edited even after game creation.

Game Market - Mandatory selection to determine scoring mechanism. Choose between Correct Score or Advanced Correct Score, which defines how predictions will be scored. Keep in mind that you can edit the market option only when the game is in PENDING status.

Match Selection - A critical field requiring at least one match to be selected. Maximum & Minimum match limits depend on global Top X configurations. Select matches by typing competition/team names in the 'Search matches' field, choosing from the dropdown, and picking specific fixture/s. Filtering options include competitions, teams, and date ranges.

Optional Fields

  1. Description
    • Provides additional context about the game and could include: Offered prize details, game edition specifics, special instructions, etc.
  2. Manual Cutoff Time Configuration
    • Allows you to set a specific deadline for accepting predictions
    • While a cutoff time is always required, if not manually set, the system automatically generates a cutoff 15 minutes before the first match. You also have the option to manually specify the exact cut-off time.
  3. Additional Configuration Options - Several optional configuration sections are available on the right side of the management portal, including: Ad content, Branding, Configuration, Custom Fields, Flags, Images, Labels, Related Functionality, Rules & Scheduler

πŸ“Œ Important Notes

  • Always click Save to create or update a game
  • Global Top X configurations may impact some individual game settings (eg. Minimum & Maximum Fixtures limits)
  • You can create multiple Top X Games with different configurations
