Learn how to create and manage Top X leaderboards using the Management Portal. This guide will walk you through the process of creating leaderboards that track the points your users have collected by participating in Top X games, highlighting the necessary and optional configurations for organizing competitive rankings among your users.
Accessing Top X Leaderboard Creation Page
π All Top X management features are now centralized in one convenient location! Instead of navigating to different sections, you can now access configuration, games management, leaderboards, reports, and badges all from the same interface.
To access the Top X Leaderboard Creation Page:
- In the left sidebar, navigate to the Manage section
- Select Top X Games from the menu
- Click on the Leaderboards tab located at the top of the Top X management interface (next to Games, Reports, Badges and Configuration)
- Click the blue Create button to start creating a new leaderboard
Necessary Fields
Name - A required field for every Top X Leaderboard. Provides a clear title for your leaderboard and can be edited even after creation.
Game Duration - Mandatory selection to define the timeframe for point accumulation. Set the "From Date" and "To Date" to specify the period during which points will be counted toward the leaderboard rankings. Only points accumulated between these dates will contribute to the leaderboard standings.
Games Selection - A critical configuration that determines which Top X games will contribute points to the leaderboard. To select games, you must first choose the respective game status from the filter options (e.g., selecting 'Open' will display all open Top X games, 'Settled' will show settled games, etc.). You can then either:
- Select specific Top X games from the filtered list
- Leave unselected to include all Top X games created for the specified time period
The system will sum up all points earned from the selected games during the defined timeframe.
Optional Fields

- Can include information about prizes, competition details, ranking criteria, or special instructions for participants
- Market Selection
- Allows you to specify what prediction market the leaderboard will track

- If creating a leaderboard for Top X games with Correct Score market, select "Correct Score" as the leaderboard market
- If creating a leaderboard for Top X games with Advanced Correct Score market, select "Advanced Correct Score" as the leaderboard market
- Groups Configuration
- Enables you to organize matches into specific categories
- You can define labels and time frames for different groups

π¨ Important Notes
- Always click Save to create or update a leaderboard
- The leaderboard will automatically calculate and rank users based on their accumulated points from selected Top X games within the specified timeframe
- You can create multiple Top X Leaderboards with different configurations to run concurrent competitions
- Market Matching: Ensure the leaderboard market selection matches the market type of your individual Top X games for proper point tracking (correct score OR advanced correct score)
- Strategic Recommendation: We recommend deciding on a consistent market strategy when creating Top X games - choose either Correct Score or Advanced Correct Score for all your games rather than mixing both market types. This ensures consistency, easier leaderboard management and a more cohesive user experience.
- Leaderboard rankings update automatically as users participate in the selected Top X games during the active period
