Customizing Your Either/Or: Configuration Options Explained

You can create multiple and diverse Either/Or Games to fit your needs. For this purpose, you can configure various aspects of every single Either/Or Game you create.

ID

Each Either/Or Game is assigned a unique identification code. This ID is automatically generated when the game is created and cannot be modified.

Status

You can always choose the status when creating an Either/Or instance:

  • Active: Users can participate in the game
  • Inactive: Users are not allowed to participate
  • Expired: The game is no longer available for participation

Type

Here, you can select the Either/Or type. You can set the types in our Management Portal by going to Features, then clicking on the Either/Or page. You can read more about this and watch a video tutorial on this page.

Language

Select the language for your Either/Or Game. You can manage language selection by configuring available languages in language configuration. It cannot be changed if multilingual feature is in use.

Winning condition

Winning condition determines the correct choice out of a pair of options presented to the user. When it is set to 'More,' the user must select the option that has a greater value to win. Conversely, if it is set to 'Less,' the winning choice is the one with the lesser value.

For example, let's say that you create an Either/Or game called 'Which stadium has a bigger capacity?' Then, you would set the winning condition to 'More', as the option with the greater value would be the correct one. You can read more about the winning condition and watch a few video tutorials on this page.
