How to Create Classic Quizzes

What is a Classic Quiz?

Classic Quiz is a feature that helps users test their sports knowledge by answering a series of questions. Each question has multiple answer options to choose from, with one correct answer. Both the number of questions and the number of answer options for each question are fully configurable to best fit your needs.

You can create multiple Classic Quizzes for your users and customize them according to your goals. Learn how to create a Classic Quiz from scratch and configure all the necessary parameters.

Meet Classic Quiz: Playthrough & UI

Creating a Classic Quiz

To access the Classic Quiz feature from the Management Portal:

  1. Navigate to Manage > Classic Quizzes from the left sidebar
  2. Click the Create button to start building a new quiz

To create a new Classic Quiz, you'll need to configure several key components. The following guide covers creating a quiz from scratch manually. You can also create quizzes by importing a ready-made template quiz from our library or by using AI-generated quiz creation.

To create a Quiz, start with the basic quiz information:

⚙️ Basic Quiz Information

Title

You're required to provide a title every time you create a Classic Quiz. It can be edited even after quiz creation. Choose a clear, descriptive title that tells users what the quiz is about.

  • Alternative Title
This optional field allows you to provide a secondary title that can be displayed in different contexts or used for A/B testing purposes.

Description

Here's where you can add a description to your quiz. You can specify the subject your Classic Quiz will be focusing on or its type (scored/countdown), for example: "Test your Barca general knowledge in a race against time! You have 15 seconds to answer each question!"

The description helps set expectations and creates excitement for your quiz.

⚙️ Adding Questions and Answer Options

Questions form the core of your Classic Quiz. Each question should test the users' knowledge on your chosen topic and provide multiple answer options for users to choose from.

Question Setup

To add questions to your quiz:

  1. Click the Add question button to create a new question
  2. Repeat this process to add as many questions as needed for your quiz

📝 By default, when you start creating a quiz, 5 questions are pre-loaded. You can add questions or remove as many of these as you need —the minimum requirement is 1 question to create a quiz.

Question
Write clear, straightforward questions that test specific knowledge. Make sure each question is unambiguous and has one definitively correct answer.

Answer Options

You can also choose the number of answer options for every question. The minimum is 2 options per question.

Important: You must have one correct option only per question.

For answer options:

  1. Write the option text clearly
  2. Mark which option is the correct answer
  3. Ensure all other incorrect options are clearly wrong
