Discussions - Dictionary Tab Overview

The Dictionary tab provides comprehensive control over automatic content moderation through link management, moderator settings, and forbidden word filtering. This guide explains how to efficiently manage community content using the various tools available in this tab.

Managing Link Moderation
The Dictionary tab allows you to control links within your community discussions by automatically replacing them with 'https://***'. You can exclude specific trusted URLs from this moderation, helping maintain a safe environment while allowing access to approved external content.

Configuring Moderator Settings
Set a default moderator ID and standard moderation reason to streamline the moderation process. These settings ensure proper tracking of all moderation actions and maintain consistency in communication with users across your platform.

Managing Forbidden Words
Create and maintain a list of words that should be filtered from your community discussions. Enter each forbidden word on a separate line for clear organization. This proactive approach helps maintain a respectful community environment and reduces the need for manual moderation.

Note: The Dictionary configuration works in conjunction with the other tabs to provide a complete moderation solution. While the Dictionary tab sets up automatic filtering rules, the  Discussions, Posts and Reported Posts tabs allow for manual moderation when needed.
