The Quiz Cloning with Translations feature allows you to create a copy of an existing quiz while simultaneously translating its content into another language. This functionality preserves your original quiz unchanged while creating a new, translated version.
How Quiz Cloning with Translation Works
When using the clone with translation feature, the system creates an exact copy of your quiz and translates all content into your selected language. The original quiz remains untouched, and you'll have two separate quizzes: the original and its translated clone.
💡 Note: You can clone and translate a quiz into any language configured in your Available Languages settings.
Important Considerations
- The original quiz remains completely unchanged
- A new quiz is created with a unique ID
- All quiz content is translated in the clone, including:
- Quiz title
- Description
- Questions
- Answer options
- Explanations
- The cloned quiz can be edited independently from the original
- You can create multiple translated clones of the same quiz
- The default status of translated content (Active/Inactive) can be configured in your global language settings

Step 1: Open your Classic Quiz dashboard and select the quiz you want to clone.
Step 2: Click the three-dot menu (â‹®) next to the quiz and select "Clone" from the dropdown menu
Step 3: Edit the title if desired (you can also modify or remove the "[CLONE]" prefix) and choose your target language from the available languages dropdown
Step 5: Click "Clone" to generate your translated clone
Step 6: Review and edit your newly created translated quiz as needed
