What are Pre-Match & Half-Time AI Quizzes?
We've expanded our Football AI-Generated Quiz capabilities! In addition to Post-Match quizzes, you can now engage your audience before and during matches with two new quiz types:
- Football Pre-Match AI Quizzes
Build anticipation before kickoff! The AI pulls match data from Sports APIs—including team form and head-to-head history — and generates questions. Perfect for creating excitement and discussion around upcoming games in the hours or days leading up to a match.
- Football Half-Time Match AI Quizzes
Capture the action during the break! The AI pulls real-time first-half data from Sports APIs—including half-time scores, goal scorers, cards, and key moments from the first 45 minutes—and generates questions about what's happened so far. Perfect for keeping fans engaged during the 15-minute half-time interval.
How do I create Pre-Match or Half-Time AI Quizzes?
The creation process is identical for both quiz types:
- Navigate to Classic Quizzes in the left sidebar
- Click the Create with AI button at the top of the page
- Select your quiz type from the dropdown:
- Football Pre-Match (for before the match)
- Football Half-Time Match (for during the break)
- Select your language
- Select Difficulty (Easy/Medium/Hard)
- Search for and select a team
- Set your date range (From Date and To Date)
- Select a match by clicking the radio button next to it
- Click Generate
- Review the generated quiz
- Click Regenerate if you want different questions
- Click Create and Continue or Create and Go To Quiz to finalize
Frequently Asked Questions
📖 Q: Can I edit the AI-generated Quizzes?
Yes. AI Generated Quizzes can be edited after creation, just like all other Classic Quizzes, as long as no users have played them yet. You can remove questions, add new questions, or edit existing questions and their answer options to customize the quiz to your needs.
📖 Q: What language can I create quizzes in?
You can select any of the multiple languages from the language dropdown. The AI will generate all quiz content (title, questions, and answers) in your selected language.
📖 Q: What's the difference between Pre-Match and Half-Time quizzes?
The creation process is identical - the only difference is what you select as quiz type in Step 3 and when you publish the respective quizzes:
- Pre-Match: Questions about the upcoming match → Publish hours or days before kickoff
- Half-Time: Questions based on first-half action → Publish during the 15-minute break between halves
📖 Q: Can I create multiple quiz types for the same match?
Absolutely! You can maximize engagement by creating Pre-Match quizzes to build anticipation before kickoff, Half-Time quizzes to maintain engagement during the break, and Post-Match quizzes to recap the final action. Simply repeat the creation process and select a different quiz type each time.

AI Quiz Creation: Step-by-Step Screenshots Guide
Open your management portal and click on Classic Quizzes in the left sidebar. At the top of the page, locate the Create with AI button.
Click the Create with AI button to open the dropdown menu. Select either Football Pre-Match or Football Half-Time Match depending on which quiz type you want to create.
Configure your quiz settings: Select your language from the dropdown, choose the difficulty level, search for a team & set your date range. The system displays all available matches within your criteria. Select the match you want by clicking the radio button next to it. Click the Generate button at the bottom.
Review the generated quiz title and questions. If you want different questions, click Regenerate. When satisfied, click Create and Continue to keep generating more quizzes, or Create and Go To Quiz to be redirected to the quiz editing page.
