Customizing Your Classic Quiz: Configuration Options Explained

You can create multiple and diverse Classic Quizzes to fit your needs. For this purpose, you can configure several aspects of every single Classic Quiz you create.


ID

Each Classic Quiz is assigned a unique identification code. This ID is automatically generated when the quiz is created and cannot be modified.

Status

You can always choose the status when creating a Classic Quiz:

  • Active: Users can participate in the quiz
  • Inactive: Users are not allowed to participate
  • Expired: The quiz is no longer available for participation

❗ Important: When the quiz is Active and there are users who have participated, you can't change the questions and options order and size.

Language

Select the language for your Classic Quiz. You can manage language selection by configuring available languages in language configuration. It cannot be changed if multilingual feature is in use.

Type

Here, you can select the Classic Quiz type. You can set the types in our Management Portal by going to Features, then clicking on the Classic Quiz page. You can read more about this and watch a video tutorial on this page.

Auth Requirement

Choose the type of authentication to be used for your quiz. Available options are:

  • Free: No authentication required
  • Lead: Basic user information required
  • Registered: Full user registration required

Time

Specify the time limit (in seconds) that users will have to answer each question. Leave this field at 0 for no time limit.

Max Attempts

Define how many times a user can attempt the quiz. Leave this field blank for unlimited attempts.

Scored (true or false)

Enable this option to generate standings based on the points earned in the quiz. When enabled, your quiz will track user performance and can display leaderboards.
