How to Configure Match Quiz

Match Quiz is an exciting feature that allows users to predict multiple markets in a single match. This guide will help you manage Match Quiz games on your platform by configuring the global settings such as default markets, whitelisted competitions, and authentication requirements.


Accessing Global Match Quiz Configuration

To access any of the global configuration options for Match Quiz:

  1. Navigate to the Features section in the left sidebar
  2. Select Match Quiz from the features list

From here, you can configure the following options:

βš™οΈ Default Markets

To set the default markets that will be selected when creating a Match Quiz:

  • Look for the Default Markets option
  • To add markets to the defaults:
    1. Click in the search/selection field
    2. You can either:
      • Type part of the market name and click on the matching market that appears
      • Scroll through the dropdown list to find and click on the market you want to add
    3. The selected market will appear in the default markets area with its name in parentheses (e.g., CORRECT_SCORE)
  • To remove a market from the defaults, click the "X" next to the market name
  • Click the UPDATE MATCH QUIZ FEATURES button to save your changes

πŸ’‘ Important: These are just the default markets for new games. When creating individual Match Quiz games, you can always add, remove, or change the markets regardless of these global defaults.

βš™οΈ Authentication Requirements

To configure the default authentication requirements for all Match Quiz games:

  • Look for the Auth requirement option
  • Choose the type of authentication to be used from the dropdown menu:
    • Free: No registration required
    • Lead: Basic information collection
    • Registered: Full user registration required
  • Click the UPDATE MATCH QUIZ FEATURES button to save your changes

This global setting serves as the default for all Match Quiz games, ensuring consistency across your platform.

βš™οΈ Competitions Whitelist

To configure which competitions can be used in your Match Quiz games:

  • Look for the Competitions whitelist window
  • To add competitions to the whitelist:
    1. Click in the search field below the list of currently whitelisted competitions
    2. Type at least a few characters of the competition name you want to add (e.g., "premier")
    3. As matching competitions appear in the dropdown, click on the desired competition to add it to your whitelist
    4. The selected competition will appear in the whitelist area above with its name and associated country/region flag
  • To remove a competition from the whitelist, click the "X" next to the competition name
  • Click the UPDATE MATCH QUIZ FEATURES button to save your changes
  • Matches from competitions not listed in your whitelist cannot be added to your Match Quiz games. ❌
