How to Configure Engagement Coefficients

Configuring the Engagement Coefficients feature allows you to tailor the analysis tools to better fit your specific business needs. This guide will walk you through the steps required to configure each component of the feature.


Step-by-Step Configuration

  1. Recency Configuration
    • Go to the Recency Configuration section.
    • Here, you will see the default recency intervals:
      • Group 5: Last 48 hours (2 days)
      • Group 4: Last 120 hours (5 days)
      • Group 3: Last 336 hours (14 days)
      • Group 2: Last 720 hours (30 days)
      • Group 1: More than 720 hours (more than 1 month)
    • To modify these intervals, simply click on the number of hours and adjust according to your needs.
    • Save the changes. These recency groups will now influence how user activity is segmented and displayed in the Engagement Report.
  2. Entities Whitelist

    • Access the Entities Whitelist section.
    • Here, you can select the competitions, teams, and players that you want to track in the Engagement Report.
    • To add an entity, click on the empty white space after the added entities in the relevant category (Competitions, Teams, Players) and type the name of the entity.
    • Click on the entity from the dropdown menu.
    • To remove an entity, click the "X" next to it.

    Ensure that the whitelist is tailored to your priorities for the most relevant data insights.

  3. Retention Configuration

    • Finally, navigate to the Retention Configuration section.
    • Enter the desired number of months for which you want the data to be calculated and retained.
    • Confirm your settings by clicking "Save."

    This setting will determine the period over which user engagement data is analyzed and reported.
