Leads Feature Overview

The Leads feature is a powerful tool that gives you more flexibility in how you collect user data. Instead of requiring full registration for all features, you can now choose a middle ground by collecting only essential user information. This "Leads" option sits between completely free access (no data collection) and full registration, allowing you to capture valuable user data while reducing friction in the user experience.


Easy Configuration for All Features

Setting up the Leads feature is straightforward and can be done at multiple levels in your platform:

Global Feature Configuration

You can configure lead generation requirements globally for any feature in your platform:

  1. Navigate to the Features section in the left sidebar
  2. Select the desired feature (Top X, Match Quiz, etc.)
  3. Look for the Auth requirement option
  4. Choose the type of authentication to be used from the dropdown menu:
    • Free: No registration required
    • Lead: Basic information collection
    • Registered: Full user registration required

This global setting serves as the default for all instances of that feature, ensuring consistency across your platform while allowing for customization when needed.

Individual Game Configuration

For even more flexibility, you can set different authentication requirements for each individual game instance:

  1. When creating a new game (Classic Quiz, Either/Or, etc.), you'll have the option to select the authentication type
  2. This setting will override the global setting for just this specific game
  3. This allows you to strategically collect leads for certain high-value content while keeping other content more accessible

For example, you might set your regular quizzes to "Free" to maximize participation, while setting special event quizzes to "Lead" to gather information from your most engaged users.

Powerful Lead Export Capabilities

Once you've started collecting leads, our platform makes it easy to access and use this valuable data:

  1. Access the LEADS section from the management sidebar
  2. Use the filtering options to narrow down leads
  3. View the total number of leads available based on your filters
  4. Click the Export Leads button to download all filtered leads as a CSV file

For some feature specific leads (eg. Classic Quizzes Leads), you can also export directly from the individual quiz management interface by going to Exports and clicking the Export all users leads button.
