📖 Customizing Widget Branding: Label Your Logo Your Way
Your branding logo is an important element of your widgets, and how you label it matters. By default, your main logo image displays without any text label, but you can easily add custom text like "Sponsored by", "Presented by", "Powered by", or any other label that fits your use case. This guide shows you how to add or change the text that appears before your branding logo using the Labels feature in the Management Portal.
📖 Why Would I Want to Add a Text Label to My Branding Logo?
Different contexts call for different labels. Your branding logo might serve various purposes:
- Sponsorship deals - Display "Sponsored by" before your sponsor's logo
- Brand partnerships - Use "Presented by" or "In partnership with"
- Technical providers - Show "Powered by" for technology partners
- Custom branding - Create any label that fits your specific needs
The flexibility to customize this text ensures your widgets match your exact branding requirements and partnership agreements.
📖 How Does the Text Label Feature Work?
By default, widgets display only your branding logo without any preceding text. If you want to add text before your logo (like "Sponsored by"), you need to configure it using the Labels feature in the Management Portal.
⚙️ How to Add a Text Label to Your Branding Logo
Step 1: Navigate to Your Widget Settings
- Log in to the Management Portal
- In the left sidebar, locate and click on your desired widget type (e.g., POLLS, CLASSIC QUIZZES, PERSONALITY QUIZZES etc.)
- Select the specific entity you want to configure and open the editing page
- In the game management screen, scroll down to find the Labels section on the right side
Step 2: Add the Sponsor Label
- In the Labels section, you'll see fields for Key and Value
- In the Key field, enter: sponsor (this must be exactly "sponsor" - lowercase, no spaces)
- In the Value field, enter your desired text (e.g., "Sponsored by", "Presented by", "Powered by")
- Click the + button to add the label
- Scroll down and save your changes
📖 How Your Text Label Appears in Widgets
Once you've added and saved the text label, it will appear next to your branding logo in your widgets. The exact placement depends on your widget feature and template (Standard, Split, or Overlay).
Example: Poll Widget displaying "Sponsored by" text before the Red Bull logo
Without any defined text label - Only the logo appears by default
💡 Important Notes
- The Key field must be exactly '
sponsor' (lowercase) for this feature to work - The Value field can be any text you want (e.g. 'Sponsored by', 'In partnership with' etc)
- This feature works across all available widget types (Polls, Classic Quizzes, etc.)
- The text label applies to the main branding logo configured in Branding > Images > Main Logo
